A Walk Among the Horses ... Part Six

As our remaining horses become more far-flung, this project is more about driving and less about walking. Nonetheless, Alec and I did our share of walking with the first three horses today, which are all at the Bluegrass Airport. One was inside, but the other two were at entrances to the airport, which required walking through grassy areas not really intended for pedestrians.

This horse was inside the airport terminal:

This horse celebrates our Sister Cities, including Deauville and its neighboring town of Falaise, where Caroline had a summer internship last year.

Later today, we drove over to the vicinity around the University of Kentucky to "catch" four more horses.

You would never know from this shot that this horse is overlooking Lexington's busiest thoroughfare, Nicholasville Road!

Our count now is up to 78 horses ... we only have four more horses left to see!

  1. Hilary, I have really enjoyed the horses. Sad there are only four left!
